HUNTED : { Wedding Miscellany – The Vintage Tea Van }

We had a kettle; we let it leak:
Our not repairing made it worse.
We haven’t had any tea for a week…
The bottom is out of the Universe.
~Rudyard Kipling

Yes, Rudyard Kipling knew only too well the universe-binding power of a cup of tea. Tea heals all.

Post-wedding, whilst tradition states a glass of bubbles is immediately available for your guests, it is also entirely possible there may some logistical gap of time before they get to bubbles, and if your wedding falls on a cold weather day, they may love you for providing a nice cup of tea.

Wedding Ideas Tea Van

Hooray then for the pair who created A Couple of Mugs – a mobile tea service, powered by their vintage Citron HZ van “Cedric.” Their aim is to bring tea to the masses at events, including your wedding day. A perfect accompaniment to a vintage / country / festival style wedding. Or to a wedding of sane, rational people who love a cuppa.

If for some unthinkable reason tea is not your thing, they also run to G&T or other varieties of cocktail. If you don’t like tea, G&T, or cocktails then I can offer no help bar to suggest you seek professional guidance.

  1. I saw this van at Taunton Christmas fair and it’s wonderful! The guys are very friendly and well presented and the snacks were delicious. Well done both of you, a quality set up; I’m trying to think of a excuse to book you myself now!
