HUNTED: { Wedding Decor – Winter Wedding Decor }

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

I’m constantly intrigued by the search terms people visiting this site use. But I also like to consider them a source of inspiration : you want it, you get it.  A recent search for “log table decorations” drew to my attention that I’d overlooked Winter Wedding Decor in this blog.

Well – logs are Wintry / Yule-y no?

So, without further ado, inspiration for Winter Wedding Decor …

Winter Wed Decorations Fircones

First up, we have multiple seasonal reference points via Country Living. Miniature fir centrepieces surrounded by russets pears. Hurricane lamps with rich red candles. The overall look is so “yule” you can almost hear the strains of Christmas carols in the background.

Wood Table Centrepiece Winter Wedding

Staying within the wood spectrum, we have these quirky, innovative table centrepieces via Bridesmaid.com. Each individual log plinth has its own festive arrangement of seasonal plants, lights, mason jars and goodies. Beautiful.

Staying on the rouge path, via Red Envelope (and if it’s good enough for Santa, it’s good enough for me), red roses interspersed with holly berries in a white vase evoke the season.

Christmas Wedding White Blue

Next comes the Narnia-esque Winter Wonderland extravaganza found via Ask Cynthia. Stark wintry branches in long vases hung with crystal teardrops hint that the White Witch is around the corner. Nightclub UV lighting optional.

Seasonal Wedding Decor Winter

From ultra-glam to super-simple, it’s the little details that count with this frosted fir-cone place name holder via Simply Pretty Wedding. Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean it needs to be red – natural rattan material and pink here is a perfect combination for an eco / boho / ho-ho-ho do.

Winter Wed Table Decor Hangings

Dreaming of a white Christmas? Whether the weather outside is snowing or not, you can bring the blizzard indoors with this ingenious idea via Green Wedding Shoes. The snow effect is created from strings of marshmallows. Once you’ve decided the storm is over, you can consume your decorations – what a great way to prevent waste.

Festive Wedding Tables

If you happen to have access to a number of crystal chandeliers, you can create this White Winter look. White and green flowers, tall glass candlesticks and furs on chairs complete the styling.

Red Table Ideas Winter Wedding Festive

And last but not least, we’re back to seasonal red. This quirky precarious design via Laura Casey Interiors sees baubles balancing atop clear candlesticks. Your guests will inevitably steal the baubles – which means favours are also taken care of.

Winter Wedding Decor : you have been hunted.

I’m off to roast some chestnuts by the open fire, and repeatedly tell Santa that I’ve been an awfully good girl this year.

Is yours a Winter wedding?

What decor are you planning?
